This months Club Meeting will be changing to our old location at the Lake Washington School District Offices. Going forward, the meetings will be held here on Wednesday evenings from 7-9pm. The location for the LWSD offices are 16250 NE 74th St, Redmond, WA 98052 The club will be utilizing the board room which has a lot more space to hold our meetings.
Guillaume, our new Safety Officer, will be doing a presentation on Club Safety as it relates to our hobby. There have been several changes in the last few years with FAA rules as it pertains to Model Aircraft. His discussion will go over AMA guidelines, Setting up Failsafe, Range check and much more. We encourage pilots to bring their radios and follow along with setting up Failsafe, flight modes and performing range checks. Several people with first hand knowledge will be there to help with any radio programming.
In addition to our Safety presentation, the club will be having a swap meet, show and tell, and a raffle. This months prize will be a 32inch foam Fok.D VII park flyer biplane and a Stanley Storage bin. For the Swap meet, feel free to bring anything your interested in selling. If you have larger airplanes your interested in selling, you may want to wait till March for our Spring Swap meet on Saturday, March 16th.
