Club Meeting and Cub and Cousins Fun Fly

Spring is here!!

Coming up on April 17th, the Club meeting will be another Repair Clinic! Get your airplanes ready for the summer flying season by making any repairs to your airframes. We will have rolls of covering, irons, heat guns and a glue station along with various tools.

Get ready for the Cub and Cousins Fun Fly on April 20th from 9am to 2pm. Bring your Cub, Timber or other high wing airplane for a fun day of flying. Challenge your skills by flying through the Ring of Death!

See you all there.

March Club Meeting

Corey Kelmel will be doing a presentation on his giant scale Taylor Craft build. If you haven't seen Corey's other projects like his RV-8, you're in for a real treat. Corey has won our scale contest several times and will be discussing what it is like to scratch build a larger scale aircraft.

March Club Meeting and upcoming Calendar Events

Hello fellow club members!

Corey Kelmel will be doing a presentation on his giant scale Taylor Craft build. If you haven't seen Corey's other projects like his RV-8, you're in for a real treat. Corey has won our scale contest several times and will be discussing what it is like to scratch build a larger scale aircraft.

The club has a jam packed calendar for this year. Lots of exciting events coming up this spring and summer. Please mark your calendar for all the events including the Swap Meet next month on March 16th.

Do you have skills you can pass on to others?

The crummy season has set in and we’re hunting for the odd day we can get down to the field to fly between the raindrops. It’s a reminder of how much the hobby means to us, and how important it is for us to help new fliers get to the stage where they, too, will develop a healthy distrust of the accuracy of the forecast and risk a trip to Marymoor ‘just in case’ there’s a dry window for a couple of flights.
