The model airfield is located in the northeast corner of Marymoor Park. It has a 120' x 380' grass runway and a usable airspace of approximately 600' x 1800'. A large grass area containing picnic tables and bleachers is provided for spectators.
We invite you to join the Marymoor Radio Control (MAR/C) Club, enjoy flying at the field and participate in Club activities.
MAR/C members must hold a current Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) Open membership, AMA Junior/Youth membership or an AMA Trial membership. AMA Park Pilot membership does not qualify for MAR/C membership. You may join the AMA on line at the AMA website or by applying at a local hobby shop (see Links tab). You may join the Club after joining the AMA.
Flight operations are governed by the Airfield Operating Rules which are posted on the King County signs at the field. Of particular importance is that all flyers identify themselves with their proper card in the frequency rack, and that all flyers keep their models inside the Flying Area defined on the Airfield Map, to avoid upsetting our neighbors.
