The Runway Improvement Plan

in

One of the key takeaways from the club survey last fall was the desire from many club members for an improved runway The board looked at number of options, including paving, special 'geotex' fabrics, and artificial turf, all of which would have been extremely pricey—on the order of $30,000.

Parking in Spectator Area Not Allowed

in

Parking in the spectator area is not allowed. I think we all know that, but the park has noticed that some of us have gotten rather lax about moving vehicles out of the spectator area after unloading, thus the new sign they have given us as a reminder—driving into the spectator area is only allowed for loading and unloading, and frankly should only be done when it’s logistically impossible to transfer equipment from the normal parking area.

Anyone using the 72 MHz or 50 MHz band will put their AMA card on the frequency control board. All MAR/C guests will put their AMA card on the frequency control board.
