About Us

The Marymoor Radio Control Club (MAR/C) promotes the recreational hobby/sport of radio controlled model aircraft flying.  MAR/C manages and maintains the model airfield at Marymoor Park, Redmond, WA, in accordance with a Use Agreement with King County Parks Division.
Flight training and special events are held at the model airfield during the summer. Monthly Club meetings are held to socialize and share information about the hobby. 
These are open to the public, and everyone is encouraged to participate.
Membership in MAR/C is approximately 300 members. The club also has a Facebook group members can join to discuss flying and share pictures.

Club Details
MAR/C is incorporated as a 501(c)(7) Non-Profit Corporation in the State of Washington.  MAR/C is a Chartered Club, AMA #1610, in the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA).  
All MAR/C members need to be members of the AMA.
MAR/C is governed by a 9-Member Board of Directors in accordance with the MAR/C Bylaws. Club Officers are selected from the Board.
Club Meetings are held in the Lake Washington School District Administration Center, 16250 NE 74th  Street,  in Redmond Town Center, 98052.

Flying Field
The MAR/C Airfield is located in King County’s Marymoor Park, at the north end of Lake Sammamish, in Redmond, Washington, 98052.  The Airfield is in the northeast corner of the Park, near the east entrance.
