The Marymoor Radio Control Club (MAR/C) promotes the hobby/sport of radio controlled model airplane flying. MAR/C manages and maintains the model airfield in Marymoor Park in accordance with a Use Agreement with King County Parks Division. Flight training and special events are held at the model airfield during the summer. Monthly Club meetings are held to socialize and share information about the hobby. Membership in MAR/C is approximately 300 members.
The club also has a facebook group which members can join to discuss flying and post pictures to.
MAR/C is incorporated as a Non-Profit Corporation in the State of Washington. MAR/C is a Chartered Club, AMA #1610, in the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA). All MAR/C members need to be members of the AMA. See Join MAR/C tab.
MAR/C is governed by a 9-Member Board of Directors in accordance with the MAR/C Bylaws. Club Officers are selected from the Board. See Contacts tab for all Board members.
The MAR/C Airfield is located in King County’s Marymoor Park, at the north end of Lake Sammamish, in Redmond, Washington, 98052. The Airfield is in the northeast corner of the Park, near the east entrance. See Maps tab.
